Anu is a Staff Research Associate at the Qualcomm Institute and a Designer in Residence at the Design Lab at UC San Diego in La Jolla, California.

Her recent work evaluates the role of digital technologies in public health, health informatics, and education. She specializes in human-computer interaction and cognitive science. Her latest research has been published at CHI’24.

She is committed to promoting accessible and inclusive education. In addition to her ongoing projects, she explores various methods within the learning sciences. One of her initiatives focuses on empowering youth to address societal challenges. She also aims to enhance data and AI literacy among young people, recognizing that these skills are essential in today’s data-driven world. Furthermore, she is a finalist for the Don Norman Design Award 2024 for her educational project.
